Sandi was born in Canada, grew up in Florida, and has had a diversified career with a strong focus on administration and Communication. Her career began in Travel and Tourism as a Travel Agent, then Sales Supervisor and eventually Consumer Relations Manager for one of Canada’s largest tour operators. The transition to Human Resources was natural as she was acquired by a large national merchandising firm as their Human Resources Coordinator. In 1994, Sandi decided to launch a home-based business as a Recruiter while she raised her children and then subsequently worked in education for the Halton District School Board for over 15 years as an Office Administrator.
In October 2020 Sandi and her family moved north to purchase their dream property, a log home on 25 acres. Joining the Haliburton Forest Team in February 2021 began her journey with us as the Administrative Coordinator for our largest sawmill, Huntsville Forest Products. She was then promoted in July 2021 to Human Resources Manager for the Haliburton Forest as its affiliated companies.
Sandi is happiest working on her home and property, hiking, boating, campfires, and a bit of yoga to calm the mind.
