Growing up, Marena spent many summers and weekends cottaging in the Haliburton area and has developed a love for everything nature has to offer. In 2014 she joined the Haliburton Forest team as seasonal staff and after three years became a member of the team year-round. In 2020 Marena transitioned into the role of Wolf Centre Coordinator, succeeding Paul Brown whom she has known most of her life, and learned from in her time at Haliburton Forest.
She loves to share her knowledge and enjoyment of nature with others. Whether on a Wolf Howl, Canopy Tour, or greeting clients at Base Camp, Marena is happy to meet and learn from every visitor as she shares a one-of-a-kind experience with them at Haliburton Forest.
