Brian has had a love for astronomy and natural history much of his life, and is passionate about sharing his interest with others. He has vast experience delivering guided tours and talks of geology and astronomy for the Couchiching Conservancy, Carden Nature Festival, as well as many years of star parties and sidewalk astronomy. He helped provide 15 years of public astronomy viewing in Algonquin Park for the Annual Algonquin Adventure Star Party which was created by a small group of his friends.
Brian joined the Haliburton Forest team in the summer of 2013 and lives in Gooderham, Ontario, with his lovely wife and their children. When not star gazing he can be found building a telescope, writing articles, gardening, taking photographs while exploring the natural history and geology around him.
