The 6th Forest Festival was concluded on Sunday evening with a stunning performance by Murray McLauchlan in front of a full house at Haliburton Forest’s Bone Lake.
It was the conclusion of a week of extraordinary music performances in the middle of the Forest, which have firmly established the Forest Festival as a unique, one-of-a –kind cultural event of note in the fabric of Ontario’s cultural events schedule. The following two links to articles by Angelica Blenich and Chad Ingram play tribute to two of the total of 8 events featured in this year’s program.
Planning has already started for the 7th Forest Festival in 2014, the line-up of which will be announced on April 1st of next year.
We want to thank all of our patrons, who made the FF 2014 such a memorable success and look forward to seeing everybody back at Bone Lake and the Logging Museum in August of 2014 !
