Snowmobile Trails – OPEN!!! This Friday, Dece Snowmobile Trails – OPEN!!! This Friday, December 5, 2025 Limited trails are open for riding starting this coming Friday, December 5, 2025.  We ask all sledders and ATVers to stick to the Main Roads/graveled secondary trails until we get more snow, the ground freezes and we van get in to groom. Open East Road, Dutton Road, Black Creek Trail North Road, Stocking Lake Road, Holts Road, Havelock Loop, Kelly Road North Road, Nugget Road, Rainbow Trail, Sunday Trail The pans have been out all week packing snow and driving frost in to the ground. Big groomer(s) will hit the trails possibly later today and tomorrow now that we have enoughish snow. Buyer beware - Trails are great now with little to no clickity claketing, BUT once we get some sleds through conditions may deteriorate especially along the North Road By Pass. BUT the forecast is looking really good with COLD temps and lots of snow so Sunday riding and into next week should still be decent. BUT if you have new sled or your sled is you baby maybe right now is not the time to come. Hiking/Snowshoe Trails - OPEN Feel free to come for a winter hike or snowshoe! Snow is deep and the trees are snow covered like a scene out of a Hallmark movie. Visit the Main Office or Wolf Centre for your trail options. Rent snowshoes @haliburtonforestwolfcentre or bring your own! @boshkungsmokehouse will be open and fully staffed ready to fill your bellies!

Limited ATV trails will open for riding this coming Friday, November 28.  We ask ATVers to stick to the Main Roads/graveled secondary trails while things freeze up.
