Originally from England, Stefan moved to Toronto at 10 years of age. He attended Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies and Geography. While in school, Stefan began working in the restaurant industry igniting his passion for the culinary arts. He then attended the Stratford Chef School specializing in pastry, and worked at a number of restaurants in the area. In spring of 2019, Stefan moved to Haliburton, joining his older brother and the Haliburton Forest Cookhouse team. Stefan took on the role of Head Chef in March 2020.
Outside of work, Stefan enjoys spending time with his dog Bandit – from fishing and swimming, to agility training.
