Laura grew up in Bolsover, Ontario and joined the Haliburton Forest team in July 2021 as a canopy tour guide. Coming from a wide background in Outdoor education and guiding, from teaching at Haliburton Forest School to guiding children’s canoe trips in Algonquin and many adventures in between. Laura loves the outdoors and is always up for any adventure. Laura holds a degree in Recreation and Leisure studies with a major in Outdoor Recreation from Brock University and is working towards a certification as a certified Forest School Practitioner.
When Laura is not working you can usually find her out hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, playing with her dog Nemo, or spending time at home working on a new scratchboard or painting.
