SUMMARY:CANCELLED ~ Public Wolf Howl
DESCRIPTION:Hear the howl of Haliburton Forest’s resident wolf pack\n \nCANCELLED ~ Unfortunately in light of recent events\, we have decided to cancel this event.  This was a difficult decision\, but we are doing our best to keep staff and visitors healthy and safe.  \nHave you ever heard the magical sound of wolves howling in unison? Every Thursday night in July and August we welcome the public to gather in our Seminar Building.  The evening will start with a short presentation on wolves\, their ecology and their relationships with humans.  Our staff will silently guide the group on a short walk into the twilight. When we reach just the right spot\, the guide will then howl to our resident wolf pack in attempt to initiate a response. We cannot guarantee the wolves will call back\, regardless we do have a good track-record! \nCost: Donations are greatly appreciated\, but not required.  This is an open event and we do not limit numbers.  No registration required. \nImportant Notes: This event is not suitable for dogs. We ask that you please leave them at home\, not in your vehicle. \nWant to learn more about the wolves? Head on over to the Wolf Centre to see what all the noise is about. \nListen to wolves\, stargaze\, and stay in accommodations. \nFor more information please call 1-800-631-2198 (Ext. Main Office) or email reservations@haliburtonforest.com
