THIS MUSHER’S WEEKEND IS NOT FOR THE WEAK OF HEART.
When the weather cools down in November, our 90 Siberian Huskies get itchy feet. In November and December Haliburton Forest guides begin to condition the dogs in anticipation of the upcoming sled season. Join this exclusive musher’s weekend as part of a group of select individuals and hang on for the ride of your life! Get behind the scenes and experience running with the dogs from a whole other point of view.
Included: $90 Meal voucher to The Cookhouse Restaurant, 3 runs with the dogs
Cost: $279.00/ per person + HST. A 50% deposit will be required at time of booking.
Details:
–Runs will go rain or shine. Make sure to dress for the weather, in layers, and bring a rain coat.
-Bring your own personal items/toiletries
-Bring your camera + a sense of adventure!
Stay at Haliburton Forest in our housekeeping accommodations for the weekend at the weekday rate and save $50.00! Two Bedroom Unit $125.00 per unit, per night, plus HST or a three bedroom unit $200.00 per unit, per night, plus HST. At time of booking we will ask for a deposit of 50% of your total cost for accommodations.
While staying at Haliburton Forest, don’t forget to book a visit to the Wolf Centre to visit our pack of unsocialized wolves!
