COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 UPDATE

This has been a tough week for many people in Ontario and we appreciate the patience that most of you afforded to us as we developed an understanding of the new regulations.

We will continue adjusting our operations as the regulations change or as we receive guidance from the provincial police or the public health unit. Stay safe and stay healthy, everyone!

What Is Opened and Closed? – As of Saturday, January 16, 2021 as of 12:15 pm

Rest assured at Haliburton Forest we are doing our very best to lessen the spread of COVID 19 to protect our staff and guests.  Each department has created and follows very strict guidelines around sanitization, washing, mask wearing and keeping our distance.  Guests can feel comfortable visiting us that we are doing all we can to keep everyone healthy and safe.

Certain procedures have changed from previous year’s that many of us have become accustom to and we thank everyone for their patience and flexibility.  When in any public spaces indoors or outdoors mask are mandatory or some form of face covering at all times. Example we will be asking customers to wear masks or keep their face covered at the gas pumps.

All clients must follow social distancing, personal protective equipment, hand washing, and other health guidelines throughout their visit to Haliburton Forest. Furthermore, clients should always follow the directions of their own public health unit. And if you do come up to visit, you must listen to our staff if they ask you to step back, space out, wear your mask, and so on.

The situation continues changing as we receive additional guidance and clarification. We will post more information as soon as it is available on our website and social media channels.

Ultimately if you are feeling ill, out of sorts or have possibly been exposed to anyone with COVID 19 we ask you to please stay at home. Guests will be required to complete an over the phone screening at time of booking as well as upon arrival. Click here  for the Screening Questionnaire.
