Road and Trail Condition Update

Trail Conditions for Monday, April 7, 2008:

 With lots of rain last week and the forecast of warmer weather, spring has finally arrived. there are lots of washouts and flooding and therefore all main trails are now officially closed.   

All  lake crossings are no longer staked. 

Non-staked  crossings must be considered unsafe ! 

It has been a wonderful winter for sledding and we would like to thank all who visited our "Forest" trails.  We look forward to providing you a high quality experience again next season.  Until then, Have a great summer!

We hope to have the roads open for vehicles the week prior to the long weekend in May.  Please check back for more recent updates.

And another few notes:

Haliburton Forest does permit ATVs on its trailsystem in winter only. Passengers on ATVs can not be riding on aftermarket seats. Only passenger seating designed and installed by the original manufacturer of the ATV is permitted at Haliburton Forest.
